Hello. This is how your HD is formatted or partitioned. To do video work you need to use NTFS as it will handle up to 10g's or so. You can check your HD out by going to Disk Mgmt. Go to Performance and maintenance > Administrative tools > computer Mgmt > Disk Mgmt. > FAT/NTFS. Right click on drive. When you partition you won't lose anything, if you reformat the entire drive you will. You don't need the entire drive to handle video work, especially if you have 80g's or more.There is a software called partition magic 8-a free version and a paid version. You can use the free version to partition your drive if it isn't NTFS.
